What does it mean to Flourish?

Hi, I'm Claire!

Registered dietitian and founder of Flourish

I spent over a decade on diets, starting at the age of 13.

I felt like my brain, body, and food were in a constant battle… Until I decided that something had to change.

So I ditched the calorie counting, food fear, and body bashing for an approach to nutrition and overall health that’s grounded in self-care and food freedom. One that was sustainable and supportive of not just my physical health, but my mental and emotional health too.

I know from experience that breaking up with diets can be scary. You think, “Cutting out carbs clearly isn’t working for me, but without the rules, won’t I live off of ice cream and donuts?”

That’s why I created Flourish.

I founded Flourish for women like me who value their health and are done with diets.

We’re here to help you find the middle ground between the all-consuming approach to healthy habits and giving up on them altogether.

We don't do #HotTips, hacks, or gimmicks that can lead to quick but totally unsustainable change. At Flourish, we help women build health habits that last. As a member, you'll get individualized guidance, strategy, and support. Plus, you'll have a community of like-minded peers to cheer you on along the way.
Can I try Flourish for free?

Yes! You can download our mobile app and get your first call with a coach for free, no credit card required. We also have a membership tier that's free forever (doesn't include regular coaching)!
Is the membership FSA and HSA eligible?

The membership is reimbursable via FSA if you have a referral from a physician. To use an FSA or HSA for the Flourish membership, have a physician write a letter of necessity on your behalf either on their letter head or a prescription pad.
What’s included in my growth path?

Your individualized growth path will include curated content from your coaches. When you meet with your matched coach (or any other coaches in our network!), they’ll send relevant content straight to your home screen so it’s easy for you to keep moving between sessions.
I've never talked to a coach before, what should I expect?

Our expert coaches are here to meet you where you are, help you tune in to your own internal wisdom, and support you along your Flourish journey. Your coaches will ask you questions and offer new and different perspectives to get your wheels turning. With your goals and life experience in mind, they will give you actionable steps to help you build sustainable habits. If you're facing a particular challenge, let them know! They are always available to work through any challenges that come up.
How much of a time commitment is this?

We're here to help you achieve your goals, not keep you busy. Between private coaching, group coaching, and solo-work, most members commit 1-3 hours per week. Your coach will also help you create a strategy to get the most out of the experience.
What happens if I can’t attend group coaching?

We record every group call, and all recordings are available within 24 hours. We also post all group call audio recordings to our private podcast so you can listen on the go! We encourage you to attend or replay the calls that are most relevant to you.
What does it mean to be weight-inclusive?

Being weight-inclusive means we focus on health behaviors within your control and working with your body, not against it.
